What Information does Tveeco Collect?
Information You Provide to Us:
We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may email you periodically about your use of the Services or significant updates. If you do not want to receive communications from us, that’s totally cool, we understand. If that’s the case, please indicate your preference by using the unsubscribe link that will be included in these emails.
Information Collected Automatically
We may use this data to customize content for you that we think you might like, based on your usage patterns. We may also use it to improve the Services – for example, this data can tell us how often you may use a particular feature of the Services, we can use that knowledge to make the Services interesting to as many users as possible.
You may allow the Services, to automatically access and use the geographic location as recorded by your device. The Services also keep track of your zip code if you’ve provided. We store your location only so we can provide content relevant to your geographic area of the country and to help you have the best experience with our Services.
To take advantage of the location features of the Tveeco App, you will need to accept the location feature when you first set up the app. On an iPhone, you may also need to click “allow” on the standard Apple location permission pop-up. You can also change this permission through the Location Services menu under the Privacy section in your general iPhone Settings.
We value the protection of information regarding your location. We store your location information on a secure server.
Will Tveeco Share My Personal Information?
We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information to anyone. However, we may share your Personal Information with third parties as described in this section:
Aggregated Personal Information that’s no longer personally identifiable: We never disclose aggregate information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally as an individual. We may provide aggregate usage information to our partners, who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our Services, so that they, too, can provide you with a quality experience.
Advertisers: We may allow advertisers and/or merchant partners (“Advertisers”) to choose the demographic information of users who will see their advertisements and/or promotional offers and you agree that we may provide any of the information we have collected from you in non-personally identifiable form to an Advertiser, in order for that Advertiser to select the appropriate audience for those advertisements and/or offers.
We may engage with Advertisers to serve ads to an audience that may or may not use the Service for the purpose of assisting users to find our applications or perform an action in our applications or on our website (Tveeco.com). In conjunction with those advertisers, we may identify a group of users based on interests, demographic, location or similar audience targeting methods. However, we never collect personally identifiable information including, but not limited to, email addresses, telephone numbers and credit card numbers, from those advertising campaigns. And we do not share any personally identifiable information or precise location information with these Advertisers.
Affiliated Businesses: In certain situations, businesses or third party websites we’re affiliated with may sell or provide products or services to you through or in connection with the Services (either alone or jointly with us). We only share your Personal Information with that affiliated business to the extent that it is related to the service. We have no control over the policies and practices of third party websites or businesses as to privacy or anything else, so if you choose to take part in any service(s) relating to an affiliated website or business, please review all such business’ or websites’ policies.
Agents: We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Our agents do not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.
User Profiles and Submissions: Certain user profile information, including your name, location, and any content that such user has uploaded to the Services, may be used to address your requests. Please remember that any content you upload to your public user profile, along with any Personal Information or content that you voluntarily disclose online in a manner other users can view (ex: social networks) becomes publicly available. Your email address may also be displayed to those you send messages or comments through the app. Additionally, if you sign into the Services through a third party social networking site or service, your list of “followers” may automatically be updated with your status based on your settings. We do not control the policies and practices of any other third party site or service.
Business Transfers: We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that would be transferred. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
Is My Personal Information secure?
Your account is protected for your privacy and security, and information is transmitted via a secure Internet connection. If you access your account via a third party site or service, you may have additional or different sign-on protections via that third party site or service. You must prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your sign-on information.
We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other Personal Information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.
To delete your account entirely, you can send a request to delete your account by sending a detailed note to Terms@Tveeco.com – but please keep in mind that we will miss you. Once we process your request, you can then delete the application from your device. If you have deleted the application before sending such a request, please contact us at Terms@Tveeco.com and we will try to work with you to delete your account and data.
Some information may remain in our records after your deletion of such information from your account. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of Personal Information that we share with our affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes, and providing contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties. If you are a California resident and would like a copy of this notice, please submit a written request to: Terms@Tveeco.com.
What choices do I have?
You can always opt not to disclose information to us, but keep in mind that some information may be needed to provide you with accurate data. The app will continue to work, but key features will not be available.
